What You'll Do

In this dual role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and driving services to the embassy, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.

  • Drive embassy officials and authorized passengers on official duty, adhering to the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
  • Perform daily caretaking and maintenance tasks for allocated vehicles, ensuring they are in excellent condition.
  • Provide secondary support for reception and other administrative tasks as needed, demonstrating your versatility and adaptability.
  • Collect, distribute mail, and carry out errands, maintaining efficient communication and workflow.
  • Undertake other tasks as assigned, showcasing your ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We're Looking For

To excel in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of driving expertise, administrative skills, and interpersonal abilities.

  • Hold a Level Certificate or KCSE Certificate, with excellent command of written and spoken English and Swahili.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of driving experience in and outside Nairobi, with documented defensive and evasive driving skills.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with experience in administrative work and/or reception duties.
  • Possess a clean driving license and current Certificate of Good Conduct, with a strong work ethic and punctuality.
  • Showcase your ability to work as a team member, with a flexible approach, excellent administrative and organizational skills, and a high level of integrity.
