Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
Medication Dispensing and Patient Support
Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
Verify prescription details and dosage instructions before dispensing.
Ensure patients receive appropriate guidance on medication use and administration.
Support safe and effective medication management practices.
Prescription Review and Verification
Review prescription orders for accuracy and completeness.
Assist in identifying potential medication-related issues.
Ensure prescriptions align with established pharmaceutical guidelines and regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve medication concerns.
Patient Care and Medication Monitoring
Monitor patient responses to prescribed treatments.

Minimum Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Diploma in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Technology from a recognized institution
Professional Registration
Registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Kenya
Valid professional licensing requirements as applicable
Experience
5 to 8 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting
Experience working in a busy pharmacy environment is highly desirable
