What You'll Do

• Coordinating daily truck allocations and loading schedules to meet operational priorities and customer needs.
• Following up on departures, transit progress, and delivery status to ensure timely execution and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Liaising with transporters to confirm truck availability, loading times, and operational requirements, and escalating any delays or operational issues to the Transport Manager.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate transit documentation, including T812, Exit, and T1 documentation, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
• Providing shipment and departure updates to internal teams and customers, and responding to transport-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly loading and transport reports, and maintaining accurate records of allocations, departures, transit movements, and transporter performance.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in logistics and transport coordination, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have:

• A Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or a related field, with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in transport coordination, clearing & forwarding, or logistics operations.
• Working knowledge of KRA, KPA, URA transit procedures and ASYCUDA operations, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide timely and accurate updates to internal teams and customers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and support the implementation of operational controls.
