Key Responsibilities

Wellsite Operations

The successful candidate will:

  • Support TCP and wireline operations at wellsite locations.

  • Perform routine operational duties at both field sites and workshop facilities.

  • Assist in rigging up and rigging down equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Participate in pre-job and post-job equipment inspections.

Equipment Maintenance and Operations

Key duties include:

  • Carrying out preventive maintenance on wireline winches and surface equipment.

  • Assisting in the maintenance of downhole tools and wellhead equipment.

  • Repairing and maintaining pressure control equipment under supervision.

  • Conducting pre-operational checks on wireline units and associated equipment.

  • Reporting equipment faults and supporting corrective maintenance activities.

Safety, Health, and Environmental Compliance

The Field Operator will:

  • Ensure all operations comply with company safety and environmental procedures.

  • Participate in risk assessments and job safety analyses before operations commence.

  • Adhere to Permit to Work (PTW) requirements.

  • Attend quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) meetings as required.

  • Follow all established operational processes, safety standards, and company guidelines.

Documentation and Reporting

Responsibilities also include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of operational reports for onshore and offshore activities.

  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and operational activities.

  • Ensuring all quality and operational procedures are consistently followed and documented.

Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants should possess the following:

Educational Qualifications

  • Technical Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Professional Experience

Candidates should have:

  • At least two years of experience in wireline TCP service delivery or related field operations.

  • Demonstrated experience working in technically demanding operational environments.

Required Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate should demonstrate:

Technical Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience operating and maintaining wireline equipment.

  • Working knowledge of pressure control equipment and wellsite operations.
