About the Role
As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will lead the development and optimization of cloud infrastructure that supports mission-critical healthcare applications. The role focuses on ensuring system reliability, security, scalability, and efficient software delivery through modern DevOps practices.
You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to streamline deployments, improve automation, and maintain operational excellence across cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
Design, implement, and continuously improve AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
Optimize cloud environments for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Support high-availability architectures for mission-critical applications.
DevOps and Automation
Build and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines.
Automate deployment processes to improve development productivity.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
Monitoring and System Reliability
Establish monitoring and logging solutions for proactive issue detection.
Analyze system performance and implement improvements.
Manage incident response processes and minimize service disruptions.
Security and Compliance
Apply cloud security best practices across infrastructure and applications.
Strengthen system resilience against potential risks and vulnerabilities.
Support secure deployment and operational processes.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with software engineers and technical teams.
Enable faster and more reliable application deployments.
Drive automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should have:
At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS production environments.
Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Practical knowledge of deployment automation tools.
Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code solutions.
Understanding of cloud networking, security, and observability.
Experience working with high-availability systems and microservices architectures.
Preferred Skills
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be considered an advantage:
Containerization and Orchestration
Experience with Docker.
