Key Responsibilities
Equipment Operations and Monitoring
The successful candidate will:
Operate and maintain stationary engines and mechanical systems, including boilers, compressors, generators, and HVAC equipment.
Start, regulate, stop, and monitor utility distribution systems to ensure efficient performance.
Conduct routine inspections and daily equipment readings to verify proper functionality.
Monitor chilled water, steam, fuel, and power distribution systems.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Key responsibilities include:
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, pumps, chillers, refrigeration systems, and compressors.
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults in utility systems.
Repairing or replacing defective components to minimize downtime.
Maintaining air handling units, cooling towers, chillers, and related control systems.
Preventive Maintenance and System Reliability
The Stationary Engineer will:
Follow preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures.
Inspect equipment regularly to extend operational lifespan.
Assist in planning upgrades and replacement of aging systems.
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing system efficiency.
Safety and Regulatory Compliance
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring compliance with workplace safety procedures and applicable regulations.
Adhering to local laws and established operational standards.
Promoting safe work practices while operating mechanical and electrical equipment.

Documentation and Reporting

Minimum Requirements
Applicants should meet the following qualifications:
Educational Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Additional technical certifications related to stationary engineering, mechanical systems, or industrial maintenance are highly desirable.
Professional Experience
Candidates should possess:
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience operating, maintaining, and repairing stationary mechanical equipment.
Practical experience working with boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, compressors, and utility distribution systems.
