Position Summary

The Technical Intern will support installation projects, equipment commissioning, customer support activities, and technical operations focused on SME and Enterprise clients.

The role provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring technical professionals to develop hands-on industry experience, strengthen problem-solving skills, and gain exposure to modern telecommunications and internet service technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Installations and Support

  • Assist with SME and Enterprise customer installations.

  • Support maintenance and repair activities for technical equipment.

  • Help ensure installation projects are completed efficiently and according to quality standards.

  • Participate in equipment testing and commissioning after installation.

Customer Service and Technical Assistance

  • Provide technical support to customers when required.

  • Assist in resolving installation and service-related issues.

  • Support customer satisfaction initiatives through professional service delivery.

  • Communicate installation progress and project updates to relevant stakeholders.

Project Coordination

  • Manage installation requests and assigned technical tasks.

  • Coordinate activities between customers, contractors, and technical teams.

  • Support project planning and implementation activities.

  • Ensure work is completed within agreed timelines.

Equipment Recovery and Maintenance

  • Assist with equipment recovery and inventory management activities.

  • Support preventative maintenance and troubleshooting processes.

  • Help maintain accurate records of technical operations and equipment status.

Safety and Compliance

  • Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance with technical standards and installation protocols.

  • Support quality assurance processes during installation and maintenance activities.

  • Promote safe working practices in the field and office environments.

Emergency Technical Support

  • Provide support during emergency technical incidents when required.

  • Assist in troubleshooting network and equipment issues.

  • Contribute to minimizing service disruptions and downtime.

Minimum Requirements

Educational Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:

    • Telecommunications

    • Electrical Engineering

    • Information Technology (IT)

    • Computer Engineering

    • Related Technical Disciplines

Experience

  • At least 6 months of ISP (Internet Service Provider) field installation experience

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driving license

  • Willingness to work in field-based technical environments
