What You'll Do

As a Beef Plant Retail Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of the beef retail processing section, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supervising daily operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
• Ensuring compliance with food handling, sanitation, HACCP, and workplace safety standards across all operational areas.
• Overseeing receiving, inspection, processing, storage, packaging, and dispatch of beef products according to company procedures.
• Supervising and coordinating production teams, allocating tasks and monitoring productivity and performance.
• Monitoring product quality, portioning, trimming, packaging, labeling, and storage to ensure consistency and compliance with specifications.
• Ensuring proper operation and maintenance of processing equipment and promptly reporting faults or breakdowns.
• Monitoring inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and production supplies to avoid shortages or wastage.
• Conducting routine inspections to ensure products meet quality and food safety standards before release.
• Training, coaching, and mentoring team members on SOPs, food safety, hygiene, equipment handling, and operational best practices.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A Certificate or Diploma in Meat Processing, Food Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in meat processing or food manufacturing, including supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of beef processing, food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team supervision skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and reporting systems.
• Understanding of inventory control and FIFO practices.
• Good problem-solving and operational planning skills.
