What You'll Do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the overall performance of the branch, including achieving profitability targets, growing the customer base, and ensuring excellent customer service.

  • Achieve profitability targets through revenue maximization and prudent cost management, ensuring the branch operates within budget and achieves its business objectives.
  • Grow and monitor the branch's liability and asset portfolios to achieve business targets, identifying opportunities for growth and mitigating risks.
  • Grow the customer base, ensure retention of existing customers through high levels of customer satisfaction and cross-selling, and develop strategies to attract new customers.
  • Overall management of the branch through efficient utilization of resources, ensuring the branch operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Delivery of excellent customer service through maintenance of high service standards, ensuring customers receive a positive experience at the branch.
  • Ensure compliance to Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework, identifying and mitigating risks to the branch and the organization.
  • Motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to ensure the team achieves its objectives.
  • Champion digital migration in the branch, promoting the adoption of digital channels and services to customers.

What We're Looking For

The successful applicant will have a strong background in banking, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in general banking and at least 2 years at Branch Manager Level.

  • A bachelor's degree in a business-related field from a recognized institution, providing a solid foundation in business principles and practices.
  • Cash Management Training is required, demonstrating expertise in cash management and financial operations.
  • A minimum of 8 years of General Banking experience with at least 2 years at Branch Manager Level, providing a deep understanding of banking operations and management.
  • At least 6 months' experience in Branch Operations: Cash, Clearing, Accounts & Administration, ensuring familiarity with branch operations and procedures.
  • At least 4 years' experience in the following roles: Personal/Business/Retail Banking or Sales Manager, Credit Management, Customer Service / Relationship Management, demonstrating a broad range of skills and expertise.
