What You'll Do
- Providing leadership in individual information risk and technology-related risk assignments, including conducting technology and information risk assessments, and developing the annual Group Information Risk action plan.
- Conducting cybersecurity risk reviews and advisory assignments, including IT general and IT application control risk reviews, to give assurance on the effectiveness and efficiency of preventive control and compliance to KCB Group policies, international standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Providing leadership in emerging risks, threat hunting, cloud computing, and AI/ML, and working with business functions to provide mitigations.
- Coordinating Red Team exercises and SWIFT attestation programs in a timely manner, and tracking outstanding risks in DORCCO, GORCCO, and CAB meetings.
- Designing and monitoring the implementation of information risk awareness programs across KCB Group, and conducting comprehensive reviews to identify potential risks and opportunities.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in information risk management, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in leading teams. You will also need to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. Your key qualifications will include:
- A proven track record of leading teams and mentoring high-performing professionals, with excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
- Strong knowledge of information security principles, risk assessment methodologies, and industry standards, including ISO 27001, ISO 22301, PCI DSS, and NIST 800 series.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and propose effective solutions.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to present complex information to diverse audiences.
