Key Responsibilities
Brand Storytelling and Content Creation
The successful candidate will:
Capture and document stories from farmers, customers, employees, distributors, and communities.
Produce high-quality photo, video, and written content showcasing products, organizational impact, and growth journeys.
Create engaging content focused on nutrition, entrepreneurship, women's economic empowerment, and food systems transformation.
Build and maintain a library of brand assets, including photographs, videos, testimonials, and case studies.
Support the creation of leadership and founder visibility content.
Brand Experience Development
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring a consistent and memorable brand experience across all customer and stakeholder touchpoints.
Supporting the design and implementation of brand awareness campaigns.
Strengthening emotional connections between consumers and the brand.
Identifying opportunities to improve customer and stakeholder experiences.
Product Visibility and Consumer Engagement
The Brand Experience Officer will:
Develop product-focused content that educates consumers and supports purchasing decisions.
Produce content highlighting product benefits, nutritional value, recipes, and customer experiences.
Support visibility activities during exhibitions, trade fairs, community events, and promotional campaigns.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote products effectively.
Events and Field Documentation
Key responsibilities include:
Documenting company events, community engagements, training sessions, and stakeholder visits.
Producing event summaries, impact stories, and visual reports.
Capturing professional photographs and videos during field assignments and organizational activities.
Maintaining comprehensive records of field and event documentation.
Brand Partnerships and Thought Leadership Support
The successful candidate will assist in:
Developing materials that position MAMLO as a leader in nutrition, rural development, and food systems innovation.
Creating content for donor engagement, strategic partnerships, investor communications, and public speaking opportunities.
Increasing visibility for organizational achievements and leadership initiatives.
Internal Collaboration
This role requires close collaboration with multiple teams by:
Working alongside communications teams to provide content for social media and digital channels.
Collaborating with sales, marketing, production, and impact teams to identify compelling stories.
Supporting organization-wide branding and visibility initiatives.
Key Deliverables
The Brand Experience Officer will be expected to deliver:
A monthly content production plan.
Between 8 and 12 high-quality videos every month.
At least 20 professionally edited photographs monthly.
Monthly farmer, customer, or impact stories.
Event and activation documentation reports.
An updated and organized brand asset library.
Quarterly brand visibility reports.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Applicants should possess:
A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Relations, Digital Media, Photography, Videography, or a related discipline.
Experience Requirements
Candidates should have:
A minimum of two years' experience in content creation, media production, branding, storytelling, or communications.
Previous experience working with consumer brands, social enterprises, agriculture, food industries, or development organizations, which will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills
Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in:
Photography and videography.
Video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
Graphic design platforms including Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
Content writing and storytelling.
Social media content development and management.
Branding and consumer engagement strategies.
