About the Role
The New Vehicle Sales Representative will focus on promoting and selling commercial trucks while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
New Vehicle Sales
Promote and sell new commercial trucks to individual and business customers.
Achieve monthly vehicle sales targets and profit objectives.
Identify new sales opportunities through active prospecting and lead generation.
Develop strategies to increase vehicle sales and market penetration.
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Ensure a positive customer experience that encourages repeat business.
Follow up with prospects and existing customers regularly.
Sales Negotiation and Deal Closure
Conduct professional sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Negotiate pricing and sales agreements within company guidelines.
Independently initiate, manage, and close sales transactions.
Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and sales offers.
Sales Promotion and Marketing Support
Participate in dealership promotions, exhibitions, and sales campaigns.

Accurately record all vehicle sales transactions.

Maintain accurate customer and transaction records.
Vehicle Evaluation and Customer Support
Coordinate customer test drives and vehicle demonstrations.
Assist with the evaluation of trade-in and pre-owned vehicles.
Provide detailed product information and recommendations.
Address customer concerns professionally and efficiently.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with the Sales Manager and dealership teams.
Participate in sales meetings and performance reviews.
Communicate pricing changes and market trends effectively.
Support overall dealership objectives and business goals.
Educational Requirements
Applicants must possess:
Matric (Grade 12) or NQF Level 2 equivalent qualification.
Experience Requirements
Candidates should have:
A minimum of 3 years of sales experience within the motor industry.
Proven success in achieving sales targets.
Experience in high-volume vehicle sales environments.
Strong understanding of automotive sales processes and customer engagement.
