Job Purpose
The Regional Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, reporting, risk management, cost optimization, compliance, and treasury activities across regional operations.
This role is responsible for ensuring sound financial management practices, supporting business growth initiatives, and aligning financial objectives with corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Build financial models to support strategic decision-making.
Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
Provide actionable financial insights to senior management.
Financial Reporting
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
Ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
Maintain compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Consolidate financial reports across regional plants and subsidiaries.
Support financial transparency and reporting excellence.
Cost Control and Operational Efficiency
Monitor production and operational costs across manufacturing facilities.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
Analyze major cost drivers, including:
Energy consumption
Logistics expenses
Raw material costs
Operational expenditures
Support initiatives aimed at improving profitability and operational performance.
Compliance and Internal Controls
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
Strengthen internal control frameworks and governance processes.
Support internal and external audit activities.
Monitor adherence to corporate finance policies and procedures.
Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Cash Flow and Treasury Management
Monitor working capital performance across regional operations.
Oversee management of:
Inventory
Receivables
Payables
Support liquidity planning and cash flow optimization.
Collaborate with treasury teams on funding requirements and capital allocation.
Business Partnering and Strategic Support
Work closely with plant managers, commercial teams, and operational leaders.
Provide financial guidance to support business decisions.
Contribute to pricing, investment, and growth strategies.
Act as a trusted financial advisor to regional leadership teams.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead and develop regional finance teams.
