What You'll Do

In this capacity you will be responsible for delivering measurable growth and strengthening the bank’s relationship with investment‑focused clients.

  • Execute a comprehensive growth plan that boosts acquisition of new investment groups, expands balances, and lifts overall segment revenue.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance profitability by promoting cross‑selling, improving client retention, and optimizing yield across the portfolio.
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses to uncover new opportunities and inform strategic direction for the segment.
  • Develop and refine product propositions tailored to investment groups, tracking metrics such as uptake, penetration, and adoption rates.
  • Foster deep client relationships, monitoring retention, wallet share, and satisfaction scores to ensure lasting engagement.
  • Increase the segment’s market presence through targeted outreach, strategic partnerships, and community‑focused activities, measuring success via acquisition numbers and brand visibility.
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, digital, and operations teams to deliver campaigns on schedule and meet predefined KPIs.
  • Provide training and ongoing support to frontline sales teams, driving higher conversion rates and improved customer interactions.
  • Oversee governance, risk, and compliance functions by identifying key risks, reviewing audit findings, enforcing controls, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate combines strong academic credentials with extensive hands‑on experience in investment banking or corporate finance.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline, complemented by a professional certification in project management or a comparable field.
  • A master’s degree (MBA, MSc, or MA) in Business or a relevant area is highly desirable.
  • At least eight years of progressive experience managing investment‑focused client portfolios, preferably within a banking environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute growth strategies that deliver tangible revenue and profitability outcomes.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining high‑value client relationships, with a focus on retention and satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity.
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities, enabling effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance requirements in the financial sector.
