What You'll Do

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive physical education programs that align with the British National Curriculum and cater to the needs of students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Designing and delivering lessons that promote physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles, while also fostering a love of learning and a sense of community among our students.
  • Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback that helps them grow and develop as individuals, both academically and personally.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote physical education and wellness, and contribute to the development of our school's curriculum and policies.
  • Participating in extracurricular activities and events that promote physical education and community engagement, and help to build strong relationships with our students, parents, and the wider community.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a deep passion for physical education and a commitment to delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences. Your key qualifications and skills will include:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field, with a specialization in physical education or a related subject area.
  • Valid registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and a strong understanding of the British National Curriculum and its application in an international setting.
  • At least 5 years of teaching experience in physical education, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and promoting student achievement and well-being.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development and assessment, with the ability to design and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
