What You'll Do

In this role you will be responsible for a range of pharmacy‑related duties that ensure safe and effective medication management for the community.

  • Prepare and dispense prescribed medicines to patients while adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Provide clear, patient‑focused counseling on how to correctly use each medication, including dosage, timing, and potential side effects.
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy registers that record daily drug receipts and dispensations, ensuring each entry is verified by the supervising officer.
  • Collaborate with the County Health Department to support any additional pharmacy tasks or initiatives as directed by senior staff.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess the formal education and professional credentials required to practice pharmacy in Kenya, along with a commitment to public‑health service.

  • A recognised diploma in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • A current registration certificate issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
  • A valid practising licence from the PPB, confirming legal authority to dispense medication.
  • Strong attention to detail, good record‑keeping habits, and the ability to communicate medication information clearly to patients.
