What You'll Do

In this internship you will actively support the sales function and help convert prospects into active food partners.

  • Identify cold leads, nurture them into warm prospects, and assist the team in meeting weekly partner acquisition targets.
  • Achieve agreed‑upon KPIs by proactively presenting product offerings, addressing client needs, and exceeding service expectations.
  • Maintain accurate sales administration and coordinate hand‑offs to the operations team to ensure a smooth customer onboarding experience.
  • Engage with both new and existing clients to understand their requirements, anticipate future needs, and uncover additional sales opportunities.
  • Generate leads independently through networking, referrals, and cold or warm calling activities.
  • Schedule and conduct face‑to‑face meetings with potential partners to pitch the platform and close deals.
  • Provide pre‑sales technical guidance and product education during training sessions with prospective customers.
  • Research market trends and competitor activities to highlight new selling possibilities.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across sales, marketing, and operations to improve overall performance.
  • Take ownership of SMART objectives set for the department and report progress regularly.
  • Assist senior managers in identifying continuous‑improvement initiatives and implement agreed solutions promptly.
  • Uphold the company’s core values of integrity, honesty, and teamwork in every interaction.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate combines academic grounding with hands‑on sales experience and a passion for learning.

  • A degree or diploma in Business, Social Sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • One to two years of proven sales or marketing experience in a B2B environment, preferably using CRM tools.
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, with strong presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable navigating digital sales platforms.
  • High energy, outgoing personality, and the ability to work collaboratively while maintaining personal accountability.
  • Creative problem‑solving mindset with a willingness to acquire new skills through self‑study.
  • Resilience under pressure, a strong business acumen, and confidence in handling contractual negotiations.

  • Fluency in Swahili or another local language is an added advantage.
