What You'll Do
In this position you will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust network of agents and retail outlets that sell SIM cards and mobile money services.
- Identify, recruit, and map new agents, targeting high‑traffic retail stores and mobile‑money points of sale.
- Follow a structured beat plan to visit agents and SSO locations on a regular basis, ensuring consistent engagement and performance monitoring.
- Equip agents and SSOs with the necessary business tools and conduct hands‑on training to enable smooth transaction processing.
- Deliver anti‑money‑laundering (AML) and know‑your‑customer (KYC) training to agents and SSOs, reinforcing compliance with SIM registration regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels, enforce the 1.5× stock rule, and guarantee that agents and SSOs have sufficient SIM stock for new registrations and activations.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards by supplying and arranging promotional materials at agent and SSO outlets.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will combine a solid educational background with hands‑on experience in sales, distribution, and partnership development.
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a closely related discipline.
- At least one year of proven experience in a sales or distribution role within the FMCG or telecommunications sector.
- Strong customer‑centric mindset with the ability to understand and anticipate partner needs.
- Excellent influencing, negotiation, and networking skills that enable the building of lasting partnerships.
- Analytical thinking capable of interpreting sales data, stock levels, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
